How many images will we receive?
This will depend on the package you choose. Most packages include 10 professionally edited digital images, with the premium Rose Newborn package including 15. Additional images, prints and products are available to purchase separately.
How should we dress for our session?
For parents and siblings, please dress in simple, neutral, light-coloured outfits as these photograph best, keep the focus on the subject, and help to create timeless photography. I will provide the outfit and cosy knits for your newborn.
What’s the best time to have a newborn session?
Newborn sessions are best scheduled within the first 5–14 days after birth to capture those peaceful, curled-up poses. We will book you in for as close to 10 days after your due date.
Is there parking at your studio?
Yes, there is space for one veichle on site. The full address to the studio is sent to you 48 hours prior to your session date.
How long will the session last?
This is dependent on the package you choose. All of my packages outline an estimate time in the studio. For newborn sessions, these can typically last 2-3 hours, allowing time for feeding, soothing, and gentle posing. We will always go at your babies pace.
When do I need to book?
Please book your newborn session whilst still pregnant to ensure availability during your due date window. For milestone sessions, I usually shoot 3-4 weeks before your little ones birthday so you have your images back in time.
Can I bring my dog?
I absolutely love it when your four-legged family members join the fun—after all, our fur babies are just as much a part of the family story! So the answer is yes, they're very welcome.
That said, if you're booking a newborn session, I’d recommend considering your dog’s personality. For particularly energetic pups, it might be best to leave them at home, as the studio environment needs to remain calm and soothing for your little one.
Do we get to choose our images?
Yes! After your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can select your favourites.
My baby has been born, am I too late?
Not at all! Even though I will get booked up in advance, I do sometimes have extra days free when a pre-booked baby has arrived earlier or later than expected. Please do still get in touch, I will always try my best to fit you in.
Are you insured?
Absolutely! I have all my up to date insurances with Policy Bee.
Have you had training?
Yes! Your baby’s safety is my top priority. I’ve received training in safe newborn posing and handling, and I’m continually updating my skills to ensure I’m always working to the highest standards. You can relax knowing your little one is in safe hands.
What are your payment terms?
A deposit of £100 is required to secure your session date and time. The remaining balance is then due one week prior your session.
